All That Glitters Is Red

Welcome back. Today's blog will be a little on the short side (I accidentally wrote the end of the year blog first). Don't worry though, the final blog will be meaty enough.

First off, the final episode of the first season of my webseries 'How To Be Successful' premieres on YouTube this week. I realize that was a very long sentence. Anyway, I had a blast making this series, it was perhaps my favorite thing to animate due to how simple it was. I'm also very pleased with the reception of the videos. Even though they're simple black and white pictures moving around, they brought some joy to people and that's why I like doing animation. Also, while on the subject of the 'How To Be Successful' webseries, I would love to make a season 2 ; however, I need your continued love and support to show that there is demand for more.

Moving onto the subject of YouTube- you may have noticed that there has been a change in the hosting of my videos on my website. Yes, I've linked all of my videos from YouTube now. It's a small change, but one that will have a very, very large impact on all everything that I do from here on out. Moving forward, YouTube will play a much larger role. For example (and as a teaser), mini short films and webseries will come out day and date with my website and YouTube. I am also working on a plan to bring my 'A' films to the 'tube in the future as well. I believe there is a massive benefit in doing this is and will allow me a much better chance to build an audience in the future. This is something that I'm really excited about, and I think it will be the jolt I need to get to where I want.

The focus on YouTube also extends to my 'Garage' project, which I will have more information on soon. I've done a lot of soul searching and strongly believe the track I'm on currently is the ideal path for me.

That's All Folks

That's pretty much it for now. I have a lot of surprises on the horizon that I think will make you say wow. I've worked very hard during this half of the year to set my self up to create a lot of good content for next year. Thank you very much for your support, and I'll see you guys in two weeks for the final blog of 2015!
