HP Z2 Mini G3

The Mini G3 is a home desktop that I’ve been using for about 3 years. It is tiny but mighty. The computer is super quiet, and upgradeable. I’ve been able to do some 3d modeling, animation on it and rendering, special fx, 2d animation and so much more, without even maxing out the RAM or CPU. I bought the one with a 500 Gb SSD and outfitted it with a 1Tb disk drive from my previous computer. It’s a really nice piece of tech, and for desktops, this is a great form factor and what I will try to stick to for future programs.

ViewSonic VA2259-SMH 22 Inch IPS 1080p Frameless LED Monitor with HDMI and VGA Inputs

When I put together my system I knew I wanted to set up a double monitor work station with adjustable arms. This view sonic monitor works really well and is a great size for my desk (and tiny apartment). The monitor comes with a few options, but I don’t use any of them, but it’s nice to know if you want to tweak the colors for gaming, you can.

Cintiq 13hd

I’ve had the Cintiq 13hd for a long time, and I’ll probably keep it until it goes bust. This was one of the last Cintiqs that came with buttons before wacom.

FLEXIMOUNTS Dual Monitor Mount D5D, Full Motion Desk mounts for 10-27 inches Screens, w/ Clamp or Grommet Desktop Support

This is a pretty good monitor mount. I've had it for about 3 years and it still is positioned where it needs to be without any sliding, or drifting. It's on the cheaper side for desk mounts, and it looks a little gaudy with the plastic exterior, but it's super reliable and sturdy. Once set up, it won't move unless you want it to. While my monitor is positioned horizontally, I believe you can also position your monitors vertically with this mount.

AmazonBasics Notebook Laptop Stand Arm Mount Tray

I bought this because at the time I needed a VESA capable mount for my cintiq. There were some custom solutions but the price was way up there. Enter this really handy and convenient laptop stand. I mounted it to the Flexmounts  and although there is a bit of drift with this mount depending on the angle (and due to the weight), it's really sturdy when drawing on. It's cheap to boot so I can't complain too much and I've had it for a long time as well. There might be newer, sleeker accessories for cintiq mounts these days, but if you find yourself in a pinch, this is a great alternative.

iPad Pro 11 in w/64 Gb of Memory

I've gushed about the iPad many times, but if it is in your budget, I absolutely believe it's worth a purchase. It has changed my life by allowing me to be mobile with my work, which has led me to be more active and healthier. This model should be a bit cheaper these days, so if you need a tablet upgrade, I say go for it!

iPad Pro Folio Keyboard

I bought this keyboard for word processing. It works fine enough, but it is overpriced. If I had the chance I would have waited for another keyboard. If you can get it for under $150 I say go for it. Otherwise just be aware that it is very basic with no real bells or whistles.

Apple Pencil 2nd Generation

The 2nd generation of the Apple pencil is mandatory if you're an artist and have an iPad pro. It's a great device, and functions as good and perhaps even better than a cintiq pen. Buy it.

Paperlike Screen Protector

I don't like drawing on screens so when I bought this screen protector I had high hopes. It's a bit pricy, but it works really well. It has a nice toothy texture and a pleasant sound as you draw on it. It's a bit pricy for a screen protector but you do get 2 of them.

AmazonBasics Adjustable Tablet Stand

This was a jewel of a purchase for me. While it's not a looker by any stretch, this tablet stand functions exceptionally well. It's really nice and simple to use, and has a bunch of different angles. I love using it to draw because they flexibility of the device allows me to work without being hunched over. Bonus points for the price as Well. You'd be hard pressed to find a better stand for the same price.

Tomtoc 11 Inch Tablet Shoulder Bag for 11 Inch New iPad Pro

This cool little shoulder bag is super convenient and slim. I got it for the times that I go out and want to draw, but don't want to lug around a larger backpack. The front pocket also holds a lot more than you would think. I usually leave my charger, tablet stand and apple pencil in the case when I'm roaming around. I'm sure there are many other great bags, but for this size it compliments me very well.
